Work Work Work! - 16/07/11
As you can see it was a pretty gruelling schedule filming Death In Paradise for Red Planet and the BBC in Guadeloupe, thank goodness I'm back that's all I can say LOL!
All kidding aside, it was amazing. Not only did I get to work with amazing actors like Patterson Joseph, Bob Pugh and Frances Barber but I was so inspired by the experience and the awe striking beauty of the French Caribbean that I wrote, and produced a song on my laptop from my hotel room (thank you again to the sound dept. for lending me a mic). Call me Milla Beets!

On Saturday 4th July 2009 I will be singing at The Club at The Ivy accompanied by

Lunch Monkeys - 03/06/09
The last couple of months
have been very exciting!
I've just finished filming an episode of Doctors, playing the older of 3 sisters
trying to hold it together after the death of their mother - very gritty! It
will be airing on BBC1 on September 3rd 2009.
And look out for Lunch Monkeys (working title) on BBC 3 this summer.
Prior to Doctors I spent 4 weeks in Stockport filming a brand new sitcom with
Nigel Havers, who is lovely. It was so much fun. I had the privalidge (no pun
intended) of working with some very talented and funny people. For more info
check out:

And tonight I am invited to the press night of Michael Grandage's Hamlet
starring Jude Law at The Donmar West End. I can not wait I've heard it's

Christmas Camilla has been asked to entertain the members once again on the most
romantic day of the year - Valentines Day. The question is, what is she going to

Deck The Halls... Aurevoir 2008! - 11/12/2008
The Festive season is here and so are the parties! The 29th of November was Kevin
Spacey's 24 Hour Plays at the Old Vic and Gala after Party which saw the likes of
Ralph Little, Sally Phillips, David Harewood and - que swoon - Josh Hartnett getting
tongued tied for charity on the round, and hosts James Corden and Johnny Vaughan
getting more and more drunk as the night wore on. The party was great, champagne,
curry and a kicking electro bass DJ, so my style.
On the 17th December I will be
singing at The Club at The Ivy accompanied by pianist and artist Joe Thompson. It
will be a fun night of mulled wine, mince pies and Christmas songs and carols in
the plush surroundings of the new club. I was there last night discussing the format
for the evening when Hugh Jackman and Nicole Kidman walked in. Chin chin!
In The Red and Brown Water - 09/10/2008
In The Red and Brown Water press night Thursday 9th October 2008 saw the European
Premier of Tarell Alvin McCraney's epic play In the Red and Brown Water at The Young
Vic Theatre in London. Here I am with fellow actor Paul Thornley.

LONDON FASHION WEEK - 18/09/2008
It’s that time of year again, parties galore, booze
on tap and clothes to die for! And I have experienced my fair share of it this
year, from PPQ to Westwood’s Red Label, Spearmint Rhino to South Kensington it’s
been….varied and it’s far from over!

PLUS ONE - 18/09/2008
Plus One follows the best efforts
of Rob Black as he attempts to secure a beautiful woman as his date to a wedding
in an attempt to get his own back on his ex-girlfriend who is marrying Duncan
from boyband Blue.
Look out for me during the series playing a
model/singer called Aimee, and a huge Jamelia fan, that Rob tries to impress by
claiming he has produced a string of number one hits. Plus One airs early next
year on channel 4.

IN THE RED AND BROWN WATER - 18/09/2008
A play written by acclaimed new writer Tarrell
Alvin McCraney as part of his trilogy, the Brother Sister Plays which includes
The Brother’s Size that made waves here and in US when they were produced at the
same time in New York’s Public Theatre and at The Young Vic last year.
In The Red and Brown Water opens at The Young Vic
in October. We are well into rehearsal at the moment and I am loving it! Tarrell
himself worked with us for the first week of rehearsals, which was fantastic.
Look out for me playing Shun, she’s sexy and a bitch, living in the projects
where the play is set.

T MOBILE - 18/09/2008
Look out for me in the up and coming T Mobile
commercial where I do a bit of morfing!
20TH CENTURY BOY - 11/09/2008
20th Century Boy was a 4 day workshop to
show case a new musical based on the life of iconic British recording artist
Marc Bolan of T Rex. I played Gloria Jones who was his backing singer and lover
for years while they toured the world together, despite the fact that he was
married to June Child. Gloria is also the mother of his child Rolan. Marc was
tragically killed in a car crash in the prime of his life, Gloria who was
driving survived. The music is fantastic and the story is great, fingers crossed
it goes all the way!
Indiana Jones Premier / Boujis Party - 19/05/2008
Bonjour! Hello from the Cote D'Azure! What a night I've had and boy am I feeling
it now! From hanging out with Mike Tyson to sitting next to Lewis Hamilton at
the World Premier of Indian Jones, so far it's been a festival to remember!
Walking the red carpet into the Palais last night was surreal, the stars were
glistening, the crowd chanting and the paparazzi salivating. During the film I
had Salma Hayeck, who looked beautiful, sitting in front of me, Lewis Hamilton,
what a cutie, sitting next me, gorgeous Kelly Brook and Billy Zane just behind
me and the legends Stephen Speilberg, George Lucas and Harrison Ford with the
rest of the cast that included Kate Blanchet (who looked stunning) Gary Oldman
and Ray Winston, sitting just two rows behind me. It was incredible. The entire
auditorium stood and applauded for about 10 minutes when Speilberg and co
entered and took their seats, and rightly so. The film itself was fantastic,
full of action, exotic locations and Harrsion Ford has definitely got better
looking with age!
Later that night I hit the beach for booze and bass at the Boujis Party, think
the hottest club in London transferred to beach huts beneath a starlit sky.
That's where I met Mike Tyson - he's been in Cannes promoting his documentary
film about his life, which unfortunately I missed the screening of. He was so
cool and laid back while reams of people came up to him to shake his hand and
say things like "You the man". Anyway there were technical difficulties and the
speakers kept cutting out so with Mike Tyson I moved to VIP - think Ministry of
sound on ecstacy! So needless to say, that's why "I'm feeling it now"!
New Show - 13/5/08
Camilla starts filming Plus One very soon! Plus One is a brand new sitcom
made by Kudos for Channel 4, look out for it coming soon.or it coming soon.
Cannes here I come - 12/5/08

personal blog which she'll be updating from the cote d'azure. A
